Hood Life: A Guided Tour Of Compton

Hood Life: A Guided Tour of Compton

Pitchfork TV put together a 24+ minute documentary on the only hood tour available in Los Angeles. Parked in a booth on the Hollywood Strip, rapper The Game’s apparent stepfather, Hodari Sababu, serves as a tour guide through the darkest corners of South Central LA. Dude’s commentary and business practices seem a little shady but as long as I’m not paying the $$ for it, I’ll gladly watch him roll through some of Compton’s most notorious sights which include Eazy E’s home, Game’s childhood home, the Slauson Swap Meet, Flashpoint for the LA riots & the Figueroa ho stroll.
