The newly opened Port Mann Bridge has been shut down due to falling ice from the structure onto motorists below. It is reported that there is at least one injured driver along with many other damaged vehicles. Authorities say that traffic in both directions will be halted until further notice. I really hope this isn’t a design flaw that the architects and engineers have overlooked, but I fear it is.
