Ghettotek Mondays: Wake & Beats No. 99

Feeling like Gretzky today. We have reached No.99 on W&B Monday and we’re about 1 more away till no.100! This week I sampled Michael Buble – Feeling Good. Funny how a sample can come from just about anywhere, but it’s all about open-mindedness and experimentation. Caught a nice synth sound and loaded it up on the Maschine. Sliced and diced the synths, used the ‘Note Repeat’ effect to 1/8 at 120 bpm and voila. I gave it that Cali vibe too. WestSide! And that’s all she smoked.
