Boy oh boy, I’m loving this weather we’re getting in Vancouver. Surprisingly it’s October and we have yet to see any steady rainfall since the summertime…Hallelujah (Knock on wood)! Here’s a quick outfit that I electronically compiled to signify a nice choice for a Fall Warm-up option.
A. Acne: Sweep Tweed Purple Cap
100% Virgin Wool. Distinctive seaming. Snapback. Wool tweed for the warmth. Snapback for the kids. Five panel for the hipsters. Deep purple for the players. Everyone rejoice.

B. Svensson: Very Heavy Waffle Knit Natural
92% super geelong wool, 8% cashmere. Knitted in Italy. Keeping with the theme of warmth, we highlight a beautiful waffle knit crew sweater recently released by the young Swedes for A-W 2012. Italian fabric and unique texture is a combo to be refused by no one.

C. Mismo: M/S Black Backpack
Made in Turkey. Italian fabrics and hardware. Body made from 57% nylon, 30% cotton, 13% polyurethane. H=17-25″, L=14″, W=4.5″. If you’re at all troubled by the logic in purchasing this backpack by Danish brand, Mismo, here is a very simple equation for you. $550 for an indestructible heavy-duty ballistic nylon bag = a totally rational and appropriate investment. It’s not even an equation, it’s just a fact. You purchase this and you’ll be stunting on every Filson-carrying die-hard out there. TRUUU.

D.: Mark McNairy: Black Suede Creeper
Made in England. Vibram sole. Suede doesn’t necessarily do well at this time of year, but on dry days like we’ve been seeing lately these things will at least keep you looking toasty. McNasty hits us with his version of a “creeper” and it looks glorious over the caramel vibram outsole. What a beaut!
