One of the most anticipated mixtapes of the summer was released yesterday by none other than ultra-buzzworthy writer/actor-turnt-rapper, Childish Gambino, Mr. Donald Glover. While much of middle america knows Glover for his role on TV show, Community, in recent years ‘bino has become embraced as a full fledged rapper in the hip hop community. His latest offering, Royalty, is 18 tracks of Childish Gambino at his best, with a wide list of guest features from the likes of ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Nipsey Hussle, Bun B, Ghostface Killah, RZA, Danny Brown, etc. I guess you can’t fail with that roster.
