The greatest change is that which is unseen. Welcome to what is now The HUE’s third (and likely not our last) phase of progression. You may have noticed that we have been absent, on a mini-hiatus for the last little while. To put it analogously, we were following seasonal rules and partaking in a little bit of annual spring cleaning – of mind, body and publication. The month of May has crept right up on us but thankfully we have never been more ready to get right back into the swing of things.
I have said it before and I will say it again, we run by the philosophy that everything is a constant work in progress. We have been up and running for a respectable amount of time, and every so often you get that itch to nitpick and fine-tune when you feel that things are just not right. Change was necessary, there was no way around it. Mutability is as inevitable as the seasons we go through.
This phase is dedicated to achieving an even stronger footing in the business of “online presence”. We pledge to be seamless, to be transparent. That means we are patching up the holes and we will continue to be nothing but honest with our readers. We are a blog. A magazine. An online publication. A purveyor of vast interests in design, music, technology and pop culture. We are gobs of paint on a palette with a brand new canvas waiting for us every morning to be framed and carefully placed as another piece of the mosaic that we’ve been mounting onto the world’s wide web since we first picked up the hobby 2 years ago.
Re-arranging, sorting, reformatting and cutting the excess has been our sole objective this time around. Here’s to crafting a new experience for our readers and ourselves. At the foundation of things, we are a group of friends, a band of gentlemen telling stories the best we know how. That by far is the one thing that will never change.
All the best,
–
