Ahhh…another week goes down in our NBA fantasy league. I’m starting to think this lock out wasn’t so bad after all because isn’t it fu*king awesome to have multiple games on everyday? One thing I’ve began to notice about this new season is that the young guns are taking over the league. Move over Duncan, move over Kobe…actually not Kobe…but move over McGrady. Players like Love, Wall, and Aldridge are starting to dominate. This week, all 6 head to head match ups stayed pretty close and Sunday’s games gave us our final results. Step inside to witness how it all went down.
Team Updates:
Blunt Heads
Jeff
2nd year point guard, John Wall has really stepped it up this week. He hit a season high 38 points against Houston and his stat line is packed with rebounds, assists, blocks and consistent steals. There were a few players who I thought were going to make an impact but so far haven’t and ultimately have been dropped (Mike Miller, Markieff Morris, Richard Jefferson and the now old Michael Redd). Its ok though, my boy Rubio’s getting better every game.

Rudy
By some miraculous feat Rudy continues to hold onto his winning record with a tooth and nail week 11 with Jeff. With an ailing D-Wade, Spencer Hawes and Brook Lopez on the bench, he’s really had to exercise his role as a manager. He’s made a league high 15 moves in the first 3 weeks and it seems to be working. A bunch of guards (B-Jennings, Teague, Felton) and two unlikely big men (Humphries?! and Millsap) are going to have to carry the weight from here on out.

CLIP SHOW
Mario
Last week for the CLIP SHOW Mario had a tough matchup with team Muthafuckaswanfineme where he put LBJ up against Androne’s, Black Mamba… To his relief, Lebron basically outplayed Kobe in most categories so it was up to the rest of the team to follow suit. Solid outings from David Lee, Demarcus Cousins and ol’ man Andre Miller helped him squeak by the likes of Nash, Kyrie Irving, Ryan Anderson and Deandre Jordan. Mario will have to make a solid push this week if he wants to see his team above .500. His opponent, fittingly named Anti-Bron, would love to have bragging rights over LBJ and co. at week’s end. The main weapon in his arsenal to destroy Bron Bron: Dwight Howard and his supporting cast (Tyrus Thomas, Greg Monroe, Mike Conley…).

The Real Splitters
Justin
Thankfully for the Real Splitters, last week’s opponent was without his moneymaker Chris Paul. Justin’s really got a well-rounded group of players who’ve been consistent night in, night out. Power move of the week goes to Justin for nabbing Canadian center, Samuel Dalembert, off waivers. He not only dominates the block party but has contributed significantly in 3 other categories: Rebounds, FT% & FG%. Apparently, for team Real Splitters having 6 centers on your team (Scola, Boozer, M. Gasol, Kaman, Bargnani and Dalembert) is the secret recipe to success.
Week 11 Match Up:
The Real Splitters 6 vs. DirtyDiggs 3
WWJordanD
Ghettotek
This team looks pretty solid through all positions. A pleasant surprise is emerging point guard, Mario Chalmers. Picked up off waivers, Chalmers is taking full advantage of his minutes with D. Wade out with an injury. Now his shooting percentage is pretty low but Carmello Anthony will always provide enough points for you to survive. Top it off with Paul Pierce playing well and Pau Gasol getting those goodies in the paint and this team is looking good through last week.
Week 11 Match Up:
Trey All Day 4 vs. WWJordanD 5
Swagggteam
Ejay
Star player, Kevin Durant continues to lead this team into the winner’s circle. You also have a great supporting cast in point guards, Tony Parker & Brandon Knight and the emerging Tayshaun Prince. But with the recently injured Ray Allen and Tim Duncan’s 43 year old knees getting older, we’ll see how long this team stays winning. SWAG!
